Privacy policy

Study answers stay on your device. There is nothing to sign into, and what you answer is saved in your own browser, never sent to us or to anyone else. When available, the optional listing form separately collects information you choose to submit for review.

What is not collected

• No account or sign-in. When available, listing submissions collect contact information as described below.
• No saved license or vehicle records: no license number or plate is requested. When the tax calculator is enabled, capacity or price entries are used only in this browser tab. They are not saved, uploaded or sent to analytics.
• Study features do not set cookies. The listing form can load Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection.
• No sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, and nothing in localStorage but the entries listed below.
• No advertising, tracking pixels or sale of your data.
• No personal analytics profile. Bot checks may process browser signals as described below.

Fonts are served from this site, so loading those fonts does not contact Google.

What is saved in your browser

So you can pick up where you left off, the site keeps these in your browser’s own storage (localStorage), on your device only. None of it is sent to a server, and none of it is part of what is counted.

They stay until you remove them: with the Clear saved data button on the about page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser’s settings. On a shared computer, do that when you are done.

What is counted

Which pages are opened, and a handful of actions such as starting a mock exam, so the site can be improved where it is actually used. When configured, PostHog and/or Mixpanel receive these events through our hosting service. Their SDKs use temporary identifiers in memory, without analytics cookies or persistent browser identifiers. Automatic interaction capture and session recording are disabled. Requests may include the page URL, referring page, browser/device details and IP address; the relay forwards the IP address to the analytics provider. Your study answers and personal vehicle records are not sent. Directory searches report their length and result count, never the words typed. Filter choices, charging tabs and road-safety section links are counted. External links report the destination host, without its full address; phone and email links report only the type of contact action, never the number or email address. If you report a question or vote for what to build next, that choice is counted too: a code from a fixed list and, for a report, the question’s number. Those controls contain no free text. The separate listing form sends its fields only to the review service, never to analytics.

Listing submissions are currently disabled on this website. The following explains how the form handles information when enabled.

Your draft stays in this tab until you submit. Submission sends the public facts and private review information to our private review system and protected backups for review and integration. Only reviewed public facts may appear in listings. Private data is retained until owner-operated deletion; there is no automatic deletion schedule. You can request deletion using the contact below. Clearing this browser does not delete a submitted record. Cloudflare processes requests and, when enabled, Turnstile checks for bots. Form values are not sent to analytics.

Public facts describe the business or entity. Applicant name and contact details, verification links and explanatory messages are private review information. Photo and evidence fields accept links, not file uploads. Do not submit identity documents, payment details or other sensitive records.

When the form loads Turnstile, Cloudflare processes browser/device signals to detect bots. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice.

What the hosting provider sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes the technical details a request carries, such as IP address, browser or app user agent and the requested URL, to deliver content and protect the service. This also applies when the Android app downloads public JSON catalogues or model images from this website. These requests do not include your saved license, vehicle or study records. Hosting diagnostics and operational logs may be available to the site operator. Public files may also be cached by Cloudflare and your client; this caching is separate from the saved study data listed above.

Links that leave this site

Government sites, manufacturers, dealers, Google Maps, Google Play and other linked services follow their own privacy policies. Opening a link sends a request to that provider, including normal network information and any public address or search text included in the link. Your browser may also send this site’s origin as a referrer. We do not attach your saved study answers or personal records. Call and email links open your chosen handler; anything you send there is handled by that service.

The Android app is separate

This policy covers this website only. The Driving Sathi Android app is a different product with its own policy, because it holds records you enter, on your device, never uploaded.
